Update: Customer Service Representative named Lava, reached out to me and followed through with replacing the tablet in a timely manner. The new tablet works great, and we are very pleased with its performance. I can't say enough about the superb customer service. Looks like we received a defective tablet the first time and they corrected the situation. Thanks to Lava we are a satisfied customer.............Original Post: We have tried to use this tablet but the top part of the tablet doesn't respond to touch and seems to be useless. There are apps, that require you to touch and use that top part of the tablet and it will not respond. For instance, in the Play Store the search bar is at the top of the tablet. We cannot touch/click into the search bar to perform searches. This has been the case with numerous apps and games that we’ve tried to use. If you try to power down the tablet, the widget comes up for “power off”, “restart” …. We have touched these icons and tried everything but because it is in the top part of the tablet the icons will not respond. I am hoping this is just a defective tablet. It is very sturdy and has a good feel to it. If it were not for this one issue I think we would have been very happy. Unfortunately, it is money wasted. I have reached out to customer service but have not received any response from them yet. EDIT: I have since heard from customer service; they are great to work with so far and have a replacement tablet on it way.Amazing tablet! Alot of space for all my daughters games & shows she watches. The protection case it comes with is a BIG help too if you're allowing a toddler to handle it lolThis tablet was a purchase made for my grandson...I actually have purchased 2 of them...I initially bought it for when he was with me, but my daughter said he loved it so much, I let her keep that one for when he is home with her and purchased another for when he's with me...it is so versatile and he can "Duo" with me when he's home so we can chat. He was able to view downloaded shows when we were in areas where wifi was not available (or connecting). I would even buy a third if needed.Love the size, the amount of preloaded games, the ease of setting it up, the case, all the settings and parent control options.My one complaint is we just got it today, and randomly during games, the touch screen does not work. For example, while playing a fruit ninja game, it will stop detecting your finger and you can’t cut anything. This happened multiple times. During another game, where you add blocks onto a grid, the blocks never replenished so you can not play anymore. Not sure what’s going on, but because it happened more than once and in different games, I’m afraid it is a legit issue… not sure what I can do about itWe use this for a therapy app for our toddler. The case is quite thick - does seem to do a good job protecting the tablet. Screen slow to respond to touch sometimes.The tablet is great for the price. It is just as good and durable as more expensive brands and is quite stylish as well.This tablet worked great for about a month then it stopped working at no fault of our own. They happily sent us a replacement and it works great. No issues and we really appreciated the amazing customer service.This was a good choice for my 1 year old to have for long car rides. The tablet runs fairly quickly and it is pretty decent quality for a kids tablet. (Je ne voulais pas le plus bas de gamme ni de grande marques)Cette tablette vaut largement d'autres produits bien plus chers,et moins adaptables.En tant qu’ex technicien en informatique je suis satisfait des performances de la tablette pour mon fils de 5ans.Il ne faut pas comprendre par la que c’est la plus performante du marché car pour ça il faut débourser une petite fortune mais pour voyager elle fonctionne très bien, l’autonomie est correcte je dirais entre 6-10h en plein utilisation.Biensur android a ses défauts évidemment mais ce n’est pas du qu’a la tablette c’est l’os en question qui a tjr été comme sa.Niveau rigidité je suis rassuré car avant sa il prenait ma tablette s*ms*ng a 600€ et j’étais tjr stressé qu’elle finisse par terre écran cassée.Là maintenant j’ai la paix avec le nombre de jeux éducatifs et le YT kids vive les moments de paix ✌?Ich habe am Wochenende mal das Kinder-Tab installiert und was soll man sagen?Preis-/Leistung ist hier sehr gut.Das große Plus: KIDOZ (von Google) macht Android Tablets kindersicher! Das System ist vorinstalliert.Man hat hier wirklich unendlich viele Möglichkeiten die Kontrolle als Elternteil zu übernehmen. Man kann sich z.B. benachrichten lassen wenn das Tab angemacht wird bzw. das Kind sich einloggt, man kann Apps überwachen, Sperrstunden einrichten usw.! Alles läuft dann über den primären Google/Android Account und ihr fügt euer Kind einfach als "Kind" und Unteraccount hinzu. Dies ist aber alles beim Start des Tabs selbsterklärend.Ist ein Kind beispielsweise alt genug, um E-Mail zu nutzen, kann man die Emails freigeben. Gleiches gilt für Apps (es gibt einen eigenen App Store für die Kids). Kurz und knapp: man kann einfach alles kontrollieren, was einem als Elternteil wichtig ist.Das Tab ist natürlich nur was für Kinder so grob zwischen 4-10.Die Schutzhülle schützt das Tab auch sehr gut, so dass man hier keine Angst haben muss, falls es mal runterfällt (es sei denn es fällt z.B. genau mit dem Display auf eine Steinkante etc.). Normale stürze auf den glatten Boden sollte es aber unbeschadet überstehen.Zum Tab selbst:Die Kamera ist nicht mehr als eine Spielerei, sehr schlechte Qualität (sagt aber auch ein iPhone Pro Nutzer). Der Rest ist für den Preis von knapp 100€ wirklich gut. Es reicht für Kinder, die eh noch keine Ansprüche an Grafik, Display, Kamera und Co. stellen, vollkommen aus. Im Lieferumfang ist ein Netzteil inkl. USB Kabel sowie die Anleitung. Mehr Schnickschnack ist nicht dabei.Deswegen: mit dem Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis kann man hier wirklich zufrieden sein. Für Kinder reichts, für anspruchsvolle Elternteile allerdings nicht ;)Haben ein Neues Tablet für unseren Sohn gesucht, vorher hatten wir das Amazon Kindl Fire tablet gehabt !Mittlerweile ist unser Sohn (6) zu alt für dieses!Wir sind noch in der Testphase,allerdings können wir schon eine gute Zusammenfassung machen :Der Akku hält wirklich bis zu einer Woche oder länger! Je nach Benutzung Spiele oder FilmeDas Gerät hat einen schönen großen Display, damit kann man gut Filme schauen. Super praktisch mit der Schutzhülle!Man kann seine eigenen Apps installieren, es ist genug Platz.Man kann alles sehr gut einstellen, kindgerecht durch die Apps.Die Kamera ist nicht so gut, macht keine guten scharfen Fotos. Aber für den Kinder Gebrauch reicht dies völlig aus !Bis hierher kann man sehr zufrieden sein !Aber wir werden es noch weiter testen !
