Have to use this the reverse of how it is intended because of the flap side for securing a notebook. Larger than the 8.5x11" size of moleskines. At some point I will make something to accommodate the sleeve for attachment and be happier. It has been aging nicely so far.Love it. It does scratch easy, but that just makes it look betterVery nice and well made.This is well liked by its new owner, who reported that it is really easy to operate the zipper and that the pockets are all of a standard size, to fit everything you'd want it to hold. The only issue with this is that the leather seems very delicate, like it wasn't finished very well. Lamb leather is often like that. In this case, however, it is supposed to be cow leather, which should be more durable. My guess is that the leather is not quite properly treated or sealed, so we added a nice conditioner to protect the surface and this is getting used in a home office instead of being carted around everywhere. This is a lovely organizer, but the leather is so very easily scratched that it won't last long, hence the four stars.This is a beautiful leather portfolio ,reason why didn't give it 5 stars is it did come with 2 scratches but my husband feels like it makes it more original with them. It has plenty of space for business cards. pad of paper and pens . zips up easily looks great and easy to carry.This is really well made. I requested this for all my military discharge/veteran documents, and medical history. For people who don't know, there's a TON of paper. I like to keep that portion of my life separate from all other things, so I needed something that could pack all of it, albeit smartly, and most importantly, securely.This padfolio is just what I needed. It holds all my important data and records, all documents, pamphlets and folders in the left compartments. There are slots for business cards and contacts, pockets for pens, zippered compartments for extras, an area for padded notebook paper, and a large outside zippered compartment.The leather is thick and supple. Stitching is precise and on-point. Zippers are thick and robust. - great craftsmanship!I've used this portfolio for job and consulate interviews. It really aided with organization, which helped not only keep me better organized with important documents, but also put out a great first impression, which is always a plus in any situation. 5/5I just grabbed a new leather bag and when I saw this, thought it would be a good accessory - or stand alone. I work at home, but when I go out to work or for a meeting I prefer a solid professional look with leather. This portfolio will do the trick.The material is nice and sharp looking. It is actually a bit bigger than I’d thought it would be - a bonus. I do believe it will fit my laptop, but have not tried and do not think I would ever use it as such. The legal pad sized holding area is what I was after. While I tend to take notes on a computer, at times I feel faster and can do more/more options with a legal pad while taking notes in person.I also like that it goes well with the leather bag I just got - no, did not try it inside the bag, but I think it’s actually going to fit. Fit or not, it’s going to get some good usage. I am happy with the choice and happy to recommend.This is a beautiful cowhide portfolio. It has a zipper all around and opens flat. On one side it has a large pocket for papers or a tablet and a smaller pocket for notecards or smaller papers.The other side has three pockets, sized for a phone, passport, or more papers. There are pen loops, 5 card slots, and a zippered pocket.There's room for a legal pad or more papers in between.The cover is soft and has a beautiful natural look. This would be a great gift for a new grad or someone with a new job, for a significant birthday or holiday.
