This is what I've hoped The Fall would release for a while: a weird, atonal, driving, loud, rocking post-punk album that gets you going. This is exactly that. Man, I would go song by song as I have done in past reviews, but the very first listen I thought this was just what I needed. Meanders in places like Auto Chip 14-15, but repetition with an awesome, infectious groove is what The Fall is at its roots. That song is long and repetitious by design, so I really can't complain. Facebook Troll probably the best if I had to pick. Borrows from so many styles, but even when you know they are ripping off an old riff or style, it's frigging awesome. This has drive, power, and really hits the spot. Enough of my vague review: listen to it if you are Fall fan a bit disappointed in the last decade or so (with the sole standouts of YFOC and Ersatz GB). Thanks to The Fall for putting a smile on my face at first listen.
